SAN FERMIN IN NUEVA ORLEANS

SAN FERMIN IN NUEVA ORLEANS or The Running of the Bulls is a uniquely wacky festival that pay homage to The Running of the Bulls Festival of Pamplona, Spain. The most notable difference between the bull run of Spain and that of New Orleans is that the bulls are members of The Big Easy Rollergirls as well as some other select rollerderby teams from across the Nation. This year's event ran from July 7 - July 10. I wandered through the after party Saturday morning on my way to the farmers market. I had planned to be there in time to witness the run itself but when the time came I could not talk myself out of my comfortable bed.
